Be alert : only the output power (the electric pulse that goes yhrough the animal) is important. Load energy is a theoretical measure without any known practical signifiance. Asd for input power, it's pure commercial invention. For the same output power, it would be wiser to choose the energizer which consumes the least!
JOULES
This is the measure of energy or power put out by the energizer. MATELEVAGE always quotes power in terms of OUTPUT JOULES. This is the enrgy available at the fence terminal to power your fence line. Stored joulesw is the energy stored internally and when released to the fence terminal it decreases by about 1/3.
